Trip Lead: Duane Cook

Participants: 10 (6 participants & 4 volunteers)

Dates: October 2 – 6, 2018

Location: Leadville, CO. Elevation: 9,300 feet.

Lodging: Two nights at a large house/cabin in Leadville, followed by two nights in the Glenwood Springs area.

Fishing venues: Wade fishing, small streams, large streams and  large river. We will work hard to be sure there is access for almost all limitations.

About:  This is one of our favorite fishing and fellowship trips of the year. John and Jodi Knight of America Cup Fly Fishing Tournament fame, along with the owners of Nova Guides, sponsor a very special day honoring combat veterans.  We fish with guides in the valley used to train the fabled Tenth Mountain Division for combat in WWII. We will also fish around the Leadville area.

Special Considerations: High elevation (9300) lodging and fishing venues… drink plenty of water for several days before the trip to reduce the probability of altitude sickness.
