Dates: August 3 – 5, 2018
Location:Near Pahaska and East Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Elevation: 7,700 feet.
Lodging: Rustic cabins. Breakfasts and lunches will be from the coolers and very simple. If you have special dietary restrictions, plan to bring your own cooler and groceries. Some meals may be purchased, but most will be made at the cabin.
The Fishery: wade fishing, we hope to find a suitable location that is accessible for persons with significant mobility challenges; we will be exploring the area as well as fishing
Flies: Adams, terrestrials, rubber legged patterns, midges, etc.
Special Considerations: Isolated location far from medical facilities. Anything can happen with weather this time of year, from really hot with forest fire warnings to cold with snow, so be advised.
Packing List: Sleeping bag, clothes for 4 days ( at least two changes outer and fresh underwear/socks each day), fishing rod – 4, 5, or 6 wt., sun protection, bear spray, rain gear, layering jacket or vest, warm hat just in case it turn cold.
