Dates: April 13 – 15, 2018

Location: Thermopolis, WY. Elevation: 8,300 to 9,000 feet.

Lodging: We will be staying in the rustic cabins at the Roundtop Motel in downtown Thermopolis. Meals: We will prepare breakfasts and one evening meal using the kitchenettes at the motel.  Lunches will be on the river.

The Fishery: The Bighorn River through Thermopolis is second only to the Grey Reef section in number of fish per mile.  We will fish primarily from drift boats but we will wade fish occasionally too. Wading is generally easy in this stretch of river. Nymphing with small nymphs (midges, sowbugs, blue winged olives) will be the primary technique used but be prepared for prolific hatches.
