SUMMARY:Madison River
DESCRIPTION:We will be floating the Madison River in Montana with guides from the Slide Inn. \nFloat on 8/5. The day after will be a walk wade day in the same river. \nThis trip is geared towards the intermediate to advanced angler. The river in August can be very slippery with varying flows. I would suggest having felt soled waders. This river is a challenge for even the seasoned angler. \nHopefully\, the hopper bite is strong this time of year along with evening hatches. This inaugural trip will be sure to become a favorite!

Anyone looking to chase the Wyoming Cuttslam this will be an opportunity to catch one of the four cutthroat on their native waters. \nWet wading with 3\, 4\, 5 weight rods is the best option using typical late summer dry dropper patterns. The surrounding peaks are all well above 12\,000 feet and are thus bare of trees. Leadville has the highest elevation of any city in the United States. SUMMARY:Farmstead
DESCRIPTION:Location: Loveland\, Colorado\nFish:  Largemouth Bass\nGear: 6-8 weight rods. Size 6 – 2/0 flies(streamers\, dries)  2x or stronger leaders\nTrip Lead: Dean Millard \nPrivate Lake just south of Downtown Loveland\, CO.\nFormer gravel pit that has been Catch and Release only for the last 16 years. \nUtilized by the Farmstead Fishing Club\, it is known for the possibility of large Bass. The Big Thompson River flows through the property north of the Lake\, but the sides are very overgrown offering very little access. Float Tubes\, Boats\, or Rafts as fishing from the shore is impractical. 5 or 6 weight Fly Rods would be the most appropriate but could use up to 8 weight. \nFishing dry flies on the surface is possible\, though using an intermediate sinking line with woolly bugger flies would probably work better.
